Alexandria, VA – February 19, 2026 – The Alexandria Symphony Orchestra (ASO), under the direction of Music Director James Ross, presents The Four Seasons with Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2, a program pairing Baroque masterworks with a contemporary reimagining.
This program opens with Johann Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2, one of the most recognized works of the Baroque era. It is followed by Summer and Winter from Antonio Vivaldi’s beloved The Four Seasons, paired with Spring and Fall from Max Richter’s innovative Four Seasons Recomposed, which reframes Vivaldi’s iconic melodies through a modern lens.
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church offers an ideal, resonant acoustic for the Baroque. Seating is close to the musicians for an ideal musical experience.
TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets start at $49 for adults, with youth tickets (ages 18 and under) priced at just $5. Seating is limited, early ticket purchases are strongly encouraged.
