Daniel Frazelle
Specialty: clarinet
A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Daniel Frazelle has performed in recent seasons with the Alexandria, Richmond and Williamsburg symphonies. He is currently the Assistant Principal Clarinet of the United States Navy Band in Washington, D.C. and the bass clarinetist and director of the Navy Band Clarinet Quartet. As an educator, he has given masterclasses and clinics at the University of Cincinnati, Texas A&M-Commerce, Towson University and high schools throughout the United States. He has served as an adjudicator for national high school competitions and for James Madison University’s annual concerto competition. He earned his Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education from James Madison University and his Master’s of Music in Clarinet Performance from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.
